The Annapolis Valley Music Festival committee has planning well underway for the 2023 festival beginning online on April 1, 2023. This year we will be, once again in Stars of the Festival concert on May 6, 2023 at the Festival Theatre in Wolfville.

Our 2019 adjudicators universally expressed admiration for the skills and artistry, of our young musicians in all disciplines. We congratulate the teachers, parents and directors who have maintained such high musical standards in our area.  We are proud of our music students and feel privileged to be able to provide a performance platform for them.

Each year, since 1978, we work for 10 months in order to produce a successful festival. We are then rewarded in being able to hear wonderful music in an atmosphere of youthful exuberance.  The joy these performers exude gilds us with purpose as we become re-dedicated to preserving this important cultural and educational event for musicians of all ages in our community.

We are hoping for your support in order to assist our competitors, their teachers and their families in reaching their musical goals. These students have spent unlimited hours in their practice  as they work toward their dreams and you are in a unique position to help open doors and create unique career opportunities for them.

Your participation as a donor means a great deal to our charitable organization, as it allows us to rent quality venues, to provide scholarships and monetary awards, to cover our provincial representatives entrance fees  as they proceed to the next level of competition and to curtail the costs associated with our new workshop series where we will explore cultural difference in music, among other topics.

We invite you to donate today and to help us to provide opportunities for musicians of all ages.

Thank you from all of the volunteers working hard for the Annapolis Valley Music Festival on behalf of our competitors.
